Felicity Jones is an British actress best known for playing the role of Jane Hawking in the critically popular film The Theory of Everything. Jones has been working in plays, films and television since her 12th birthday. Her career began with the television film The Treasure Seekers. In the following film, The Worst Witch (a television series) in which she appeared as Ethel Hallow. The sequel Weirdsisters college was also filmed. In her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she starred in), Young Ruth, she continued to act in a variety of other films. For instance, in The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she became a household name for her work. The role she played in The Theory of Everything was the one that earned her an Oscar nomination. The biopic is based on the life of physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was adored by both viewers and critics for her flawless portrayal of Hawking's first wife. She was then seen in Inferno an action film starring Tom Hanks. Jones was named British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her exceptional talent and contributions in film.
