Mary Marg Helgenberger, born November 16, 1958 in the US, is an actress. In the early 1980s, she started her career and became known as Siobhan Ryan's character on the soap opera of the day Ryan's Hope between 1982 and 1986. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Art History at Columbia University in 2007. In 2017, she was appointed co-host of the daily chat talk show The View. She will continue to host until 2021. McCain started writing a daily column for the Daily Mail after leaving The View.
